逆に繊維が短い素材は麻などです。肌触りが悪いとは言えませんが、少なくとも滑らかではありませんよね。
そうした中、我々が探したのは繊維自体が吸湿性や通気性を持ち、それでいて繊維が長く肌触りのよい素材・・・ということで「綿」、しかも超長繊維の綿でした。
以前は高級衣料などでよく使われていた素材なのですが、現在では価格が高いことで敬遠され、今治タオルや高級寝具など、用途が限られているといいます。しかし、睡眠の深さにこだわる以上はクオリティ優先です。ということで、NELSPAアンダーウエアには最高級コットンであるスーピマ綿を採用しています。
